Research Infrastructure

Composed of expert personnel covering all areas of X-ray crystallography and Cryo-EM, with the capability to independently perform the entire process of structural research

  • Structural Biology
    • Structural analysis using X-ray crystallography and Cryo-EM
    • Conducts structure- and mechanism-centered convergent research on various biomacromolecules including proteins, membrane proteins, protein–drug complexes, amyloids, and viruses
  • X-ray Crystallography
    • Crystallization screening and optimization of proteins and protein–ligand complexes
    • Collection of X-ray diffraction data and structural interpretation at the atomic level
    • Bio-SAXS measurement and analysis
  • Cryo-EM
    • Optimization of sample purification and grid preparation
    • Operation of high-performance Cryo-TEM and data acquisition
    • Single particle analysis, Cryo-electron tomography, helical reconstruction, subtomogram averaging, Micro-ED
  • Data Analysis and Computational Structural Biology
    • Processing and management of large-scale structure-based data
    • Integrated interpretation based on atomic modeling and structure prediction
    • Operation of a high-performance computing environment
