Conducts research on next-generation power semiconductor materials (Ga₂O₃, diamond), neutron generation and applications, biomedical research using advanced analytical instruments, next-generation power semiconductor research utilizing multi-species ion beam irradiation facilities, and specialized marine biotechnology research.
Research Infrastructure
Carries out research and development using advanced analytical equipment, neutron sources, and multi-species ion irradiation systems to develop next-generation power semiconductor materials and devices, analyze material structures, advance display materials, and secure and utilize marine biomass technologies.
- Conducts projects on next-generation power semiconductors: Ga₂O₃ and diamond-based semiconductors
- Precisely elucidates quantum dynamics using spectroscopic analysis in time, space, and energy domains
- Conducts research on materials (e.g., power semiconductors, displays) and biofields using OrbiSIMS
- Secures and develops utilization technologies for marine biomass
- Extraction of multi-species ion beams (for power semiconductors and future materials) and development of high-energy ion beam design technologies
