KBSI operates overseas cooperation centers to provide active opportunities for international collaboration and to generate excellent cooperation outcomes. Through locally established overseas cooperation centers, KBSI engages in diverse activities to address bilateral science and technology agendas and to promote joint research

KBSI’s first overseas cooperation center, the Korea-UAE Joint R&D Technical Center (KUTC), was established at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi to activate Korea-UAE joint R&D and to serve as a hub for collaborative research.
