- Conducts Earth and environmental studies and identifies environmental pollution using precise environmental isotope analysis technologies. Performs multi-isotope precision analysis through the integration of IRMS and ERMS research equipment.
- The research team on environmental radioactivity and stable isotopes (Kwang-Sik Lee, Sung-Wook Jung, Woo-Jin Shin, Hyung-Sun Shin, Chul-Ho Yoon, Jung-Hee Han, Yeon-Sik Bong, Jae-Sik Yoon) leads the public and social responsibility role of the institute by responding to domestic and international environmental issues and providing critical analytical science data.
