• Optical Imaging Field Observes and tracks biomolecules using optical instruments such as light and lenses Representative Equipment MMMIS Tracks labeled/unlabeled molecules in living organisms to evaluate disease mechanisms and therapeutic efficacy
• Electron Microscopy Field Utilizes TEM, SEM, and FIB to observe and analyze microstructures and compositional information of materials at the atomic level Representative Equipment Mono Cs STEM Analyzes thin films, interfaces, and surface microstructural properties across materials, bio, and environmental fields
• NMR Field Analyzes the structure and dynamics of substances at the atomic level by using the resonance phenomenon of atomic nuclei with electromagnetic waves in a magnetic field Representative Equipment 1.2GHz NMR (First introduced in Asia) Enables protein structure analysis and identification of mechanisms of action (MOA) in new drug development
