Research Overview
The Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) possesses over 500 state-of-the-art research instruments and is leading innovation in the national research facility and equipment ecosystem by continuously building and operating advanced large-scale research equipment with world-class or first-in-Korea specifications and performance, including the multi-purpose synchrotron radiation accelerator scheduled for completion in 2029.
