Research and development of high-precision, low-damage, multimodal hybrid imaging platform technologies for organic/inorganic materials and biological samples using charged particle (electron/ion)-based technologies

Research Infrastructure

Main Tasks

  • Commercialization of the first domestic development achievement : Support for the commercialization of the first domestically developed transmission electron microscope
    • Stable technology transfer and support to demand companies that have received the KBSI low-voltage transmission electron microscope system technology developed for the first time in Korea
  • New-concept hybrid imaging platform research : Research and development of real-time high-precision, low-damage, multimodal hybrid imaging platform technologies for organic/inorganic materials and biological samples
    • Development and automation of equipment for hybrid imaging implementation using charged particles (electrons/ions)
    • Research and development of AI-based digital twin image fusion and automatic interpretation technologies
  • Technical difficulty support : Technical support for charged particle-based imaging technologies
    • Identification of technical difficulties and provision of solutions for domestic research equipment companies related to imaging technologies
    • Technical support for family companies facing technical challenges
