SIMS/Isotope Analysis Group
KBSI possesses a total of six advanced Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometers (SIMS) and seven isotope mass spectrometry research instruments. SIMS instruments are utilized for surface analysis research of advanced materials and natural substances, while isotope analysis instruments are applied in earth and environmental research.
The research instruments of the SIMS/Isotope Analysis Group constitute one of the world’s most advanced integrated facilities, serving as a national infrastructure that enables one-stop research for diverse analytical studies.
