저희 전주센터에서는 Micro X-ray/UV Photoelectron Spectromicroscopy(차세대 광전자 분광분석기)의 분석지원을 2005년 12월 1일부터 시작하오니 많은 이용을 바랍니다. ■ 원리 및 특징 XPS/UPS는 분석하고자 하는 시료에 빛을(X선 또는 자외선) 조사하여 튀어나오는 광전자를 검출기를 통하여 검출하여 시료의 구성성분을 비파괴적으로 분석할 수 있는 장비이다. 또한, 광전자의 방출시에 주위 환경에 따른 전자의 결합에너지(Binding energy)의 움직임이 존재하며, 이를 통하여 성분의 화학적 결합 형태 및 가전자띠(Valence band)에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. ■ 주요 구성 및 성능 - Small spot X-ray(<10um) - Energy Resolution : Ag 3d5/2 <0.48 eV for XPS, 100 meV for UPS with 500mm Rowland circle monochromatic X-ray source. - Fast parallel XPS/UPS imaging resolution with snapshot mode : <3um (˝Real time˝ chemical state mapping) - Full charge compensation system : capable of analyzing insulators and poor conducting materials such as both polymeric devices and relevant bio samples. - Fully automatic large sample(3˝) loading and handing - High speed depth profiling with the wide energy range ion gun(100eV~4keV) - 100 channel pulse counting detector ■ 활용 분야 - Surface and interface analysis - OLED electronic structure and its related subjects analysis. - Electronic structure of polymers, organic materials and semiconductors. - Quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis of variety of materials and devices. - Metal/Organic interface studies. - Complicated phenomena at surface.
